Fashion Forecast: Fall 2010

This season it’s all about chunky knit sweaters, suede boots, faux fur, and cashmere–all in rich hues of browns and other neutral shades. Now, while some may argue that dressing in nothing but browns and grays screams boring, designers this season say otherwise, referring to this trend as elegantly sumptuous.
From Balmain to Michael Kors (my personal fave), the color camel made an appearance on most catwalks this fall. And, being that it is a classic, in the right cut and fabric it never looks outdated. I’ll even go as far as to say that like the leopard trend, this one will also stand the test of time and stick around even after it’s forgotten.
As always, I was shopping online for some cute pieces to add to my wardrobe that a) follow the trend and, b) stick to my student-friendly budget. Here’s what I came across:
